Joyce Petersen
Joyce is eager to begin her 11th year as an instructor at Step by Step. She holds a degree in Exercise Science with a Dance Minor from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Kent State. Joyce, a five-year studio alumnus, has been trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern and Contemporary. She is very excited for another year working with the Step by Step dancers; and with a focus on technique and movement with intention to help them to grow as beautiful performers!
When Joyce isn’t working or dancing, she enjoys running.

Jessica Fisher
Jessica started dancing at the age of 5. She enjoyed taking classes in tap, jazz and ballet throughout her elementary years and wanted to be a dance teacher when she grew up. In high school, she was on her school’s competition dance team. But regrettably, Jessica did not continue her dance education into adulthood.
Then, in 2015, at the urging of her husband, Jessica bought a new pair of tap shoes and did her first shuffle in more than 25 years. Now she enjoys being a part of Kristin’s adult tap class and living her dream teaching the beginner adult tap class.
When not dancing, Jessica works as a tax accountant. Her and her husband live in Huron and enjoy spending time with their family including 4 boys, 2 daughters-in-law, 1 grandchild, 1 dog and 3 very spoiled cats.

Meghan Hunt
Ms. Meghan Hunt is returning to the Step by Step staff after a brief hiatus. Meghan, an alumnus of Step by Step, is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio, where she was an active member of the MU Dance Team and was given opportunities to study under a variety of choreographers within the National Dance Alliance(NDA) circuit. She is currently working for Sherwin-Williams and studying for her MBA at CSU. We are so excited Meghan has carved out time from her busy schedule to continue teaching our Heels class this Fall! She is looking forward to building on the sultry dance base she created with our students this past summer, with strong emphasis on encouraging confidence and technical acumen.
